We’re giving an early evening concert on Saturday at St Michael’s in Lewes – yes, 6pm start – to launch our CD. It’s a feast of English music sacred and secular.
The programme includes many of the pieces from the CD, such as Stanford Beati quorum via and Walton Set me as a seal, plus some numbers sung by semi-chorus groups, one to a part (including Byrd Ave verum and Pearsall Lay a garland), which I think will add a lovely variety.
You can also hear the Andrew Carter Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis which we sang at Westminster Abbey, and the Lennox Berkeley Missa Brevis, as well as Clive Osgood’s brilliant Miserere Mei which we wrote for us last year – come and marvel at how easy Nadia Bunker finds those top Cs.
Plus fun madrigals like ‘Fair Phyllis’, and the excellent Iestyn Evans accompanying us on organ.
Tickets £8 on the door, under 16s free, hope you can come!
