Well, as far as Westminster Abbey is concerned, our August visit is ON. Of course, all our plans could be stymied yet again by the caprice of government. But if it goes ahead, this is what we’ll be singing (all 16 of us – the maximum number permitted):

Saturday 14th August, Evensong at 5pm

Magnificat and Dunc Dimittis: Leighton 2nd service

Anthem: Greater Love Ireland

We’re meeting for a couple of rehearsals beforehand (by hook or by crook) and I for one will be easing my voice into it from now on… would have been easier if choir rehearsals hadn’t been snatched from us last month…
